ADB, India Sign $112 Million Loan to Improve Water Supply Infrastructure in Jharkhand
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Government of India today signed a $112 million loan to develop water supply infrastructure and strengthen the capacity of urban local bodies (ULBs) for improved service delivery in four towns in the state of Jharkhand.

The signatories to the agreement for Jharkhand Urban Water Supply Improvement Project were Ministry of Finance’s Department of Economic Affairs Additional Secretary Rajat Kumar Mishra, who signed for the Government of India, and ADB Country Director for India Takeo Konishi, who signed for ADB.
